Overview

MUJ FISH operates entirely locally within the browser. No personal data, passwords, or university credentials are collected, stored, or transmitted to external servers.

Data Collection

Academic data remains private. MUJ FISH collects zero telemetry, analytics, or personal user data. The extension reads attendance and grade elements already visible on the screen when visiting the SLCM portal purely to perform local arithmetic calculations (such as attendance math and CGPA forecasting).

Credentials and Security

University login credentials (username and password) remain strictly between the user and the official Manipal University Jaipur SLCM portal. The extension never requests, reads, stores, or handles passwords in any way.

Local Storage

Any preferences or customized inputs (such as target attendance percentages or predicted future semester credits) are stored locally on the machine using standard browser storage APIs (`chrome.storage.local`) and never leave the device.

Open Source Transparency

MUJ FISH is completely open source. Every single line of code can be audited directly on the GitHub Repository to verify these privacy claims.
